Our Missions

Missionary Work

We have been part of many missions over the years, both throughout the United States and internationally. We have served in various capacities of building, cleaning, teaching, and providing outreach supplies. We have helped build churches and schools from mixing the foundations all the way up to the roofing; and God willing, we plan to continue with that work throughout America and the world. As we have traveled, we have been the hands and feet of Jesus, seeing needs and providing for them along the way. We have blessed people with baby supplies, pet food, hygiene items, shoes, clothes, and winter garments. We have distributed ready to eat food, as well as larger take home packs, and planted fruit trees for a dozen families. We have gathered hundreds of school supplies for backpack distribution. We connect with each person we serve to truly share the love of God. We see the person before their need and acknowledge their worth as we give out these items. We share the gospel of Jesus Christ and many people are open to receiving prayer. All of this has been done out of pocket or by immediately using small donations here and there. We are only now launching as a nonprofit with this new website and ability to take donations to further expand our good works. Our main targets for missions are: prayer ministry, empowerment events, creation care, Bible distribution, and animal rescue. These missions are accomplished by the Holy Spirit working through us, and all glory goes to God!! It is not by our own strength:

“‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the LORD Almighty.” -Zechariah 4:6

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit” -Matthew 28:19

Empowerment Events

RISE creates gatherings designed to affirm each individual’s identity as a child of God. You were lovingly created and formed by His hands, carefully knit together in His attentive care. Our free empowerment workshops provide practical guidance on identity, healthy boundaries, assertiveness, and living with the confidence of victorious faith. We also offer educational workshops that integrate expressive arts therapy—including music, painting, crafting, dance, flagging, stretching, and more—giving participants creative avenues for growth and renewal. Each event is anchored in prayer, with dedicated time for participants to be prayed over individually and receive support for their prayer requests.

Bible Distribution

One of the missions of RISE is to spread God’s word by offering free Bibles! We are excited to share our faith and invite people to learn about Jesus. Reading the Bible is one of the best ways to strengthen your relationship with God and your faith. If you or someone you know wants to start your own Biblical journey, then please let us know or come to one of our events where we hand them out. Within the pages of the Holy Bible is knowledge of salvation, guidance, and comfort.

Caring for Creation

We believe in the Biblical idea of stewardship in creation. We loved God’s earth and all that His hands have made. We care for the land, sea, and all animals. We serve by picking up litter everywhere we go. This has now amounted to hundreds of pounds of garbage off of our beaches, wetlands, and forests. We support conservation efforts like Leave No Trace and the National Park System. We have even partnered with these organizations through A Christian Ministry in the National Parks (ACMNP) where Caitlin led litter pick up efforts in Rocky Mountain National Park and its campgrounds. When the federal shutdown happened and employees were sent home, Rise patrolled the park’s trailheads and maintained the garbage cans, to keep them from spilling over and becoming a danger to wildlife. We have also taken hundreds of pounds for recycling and would love to see more cities in America make recycling a standard practice.

Animal Rescue

We have a passion for serving creation and that includes God’s beautiful creatures! Each animal who has the breath of life in its lungs and blood of life in its veins also has a spirit that we are able to connect with in love. We have saved many dogs, cats, and birds from the streets and helped them go on to live better lives. Our philosophy of “rescue, rehab, rehome” is a time consuming and expensive mode of service, but we know it is worth it to each special animal. We have paid out of pocket for many medications, surgeries, supplies, and food. We also have experience with horses, goats, chickens, waterfowl, songbirds, rabbits, turtles, snakes, raccoons, opossums, sugar gliders, and rodents. It is our dream to open a sanctuary someday where animals and people alike can heal and bond.

Prayer Ministry

We offer intercessory prayer for anyone who wants to connect with God. We offer to pray for people individually along with their prayer requests.

1 Timothy 2:1: “I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people.”

Holy Spirit Connection

We have a passion to expand the Kingdom of God by seeing His power at work here on the earth. “Lord, let Your Kingdom come, and Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” The Kingdom of Heaven is filled with love, healing, miracles, signs, and wonders. If you have not seen the Holy Spirit at work, I encourage you to seek out a church that does deliverance. Just like the book of Acts from Biblical times, the Spirit of God is alive and moving. There is no limit on what God can do. Open yourself to His power and you will be changed.

James 5:16: “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”

Doing mission work in Haiti lit my faith on fire! To see such poverty alongside such gratitude and worship was inspiring beyond words! Church services could go for hours, clapping your hands and stomping your feet, singing and dancing to praise God! There were processionals in the streets with instruments, and everyone was invited to participate. This is the kind of worship revival I want to see brought to America! The time for lukewarm Christianity is over, it’s time to dance like David!

Our outreach included manual labor of building a school and a church.We planted fruit trees for many families, handed out food, and distributed backpacks of school supplies. I helped with Bible school and worship. I was also blessed to help out at the preschool! I loved Haiti so much that I kept returning and became a missions leader who met with Haiti community leaders. We have a vision for that community, and God willing, my work there isn’t done yet!

Caitlin
